Explanation of Solution
According to the figure given, we can observe a waterfall that apparently rises again due to the impulse of a type of mechanism in the base. From the physics point of view, it is not possible for the water once it reaches the base to rise again through the mechanism shown. In effect, the gravitational potential energy decreases become kinetic energy as it falls, once the water hits the base part of the kinetic energy is dissipated or transformed into thermal energy due to collisions. At the base after the impact, the water has a very low kinetic energy and almost zero potential energy. So it is not possible to raise the gravitational potential energy or the kinetic energy with the mechanism shown.
