Summary Introduction

In translation, amino acid sequence of a protein molecule is synthesized from mRNA. The messenger RNA (mRNA), transfer RNA (tRNA) and ribosomes are three major components involved in protein synthesis. The mRNA sequence encodes genetic information and that is translated into a protein. The tRNA transfers free amino acids to the ribosome, which are used for synthesis of new protein sequence. The ribosome synthesizes protein according to the mRNA sequence.
