Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Endocrine cells secrete hormones into the extracellular fluids, which are the signaling molecules. The secreted hormones reach target cells through the bloodstream. They maintain homeostasis and regulate growth, development, blood pressure, metabolism and fluid concentration in the body.
