Chapter 4, Problem 7MC
Summary Introduction
Introduction: Cell is the basic structural, functional, and biological unit of all living organisms. Each cell experiences changes with ageing. Many cells lose their ability to function properly. As ageing continues, connective tissues start changing and become stiffer. This causes rigidity in the organs, blood vessels, and airways. Ageing brings changes to cell membranes, and thus, tissues start facing problem in getting oxygen and nutrients.
