Many people are starting their day with having either a caffeine or a cold drink. It is agreed by the researchers that the people who are taking caffeine in large amount may have withdrawal symptoms. Due to these various volunteers have been recruited.

Blocking is the process of arranging the experimental units in groups that are similar to one another. Here, every block is representing the people that would get the treatment. Thus, the blocking is being used by providing the treatments to the subjects.

To explain: The reason of randomizing the order in a way that each subject is getting two treatments.

Explanation of Solution

Here, orders have been randomized because there may be fluctuations in the result and the correct or true results may not be obtained.

To explain: Whether this matter has been conducted in the manner of double blind.

Explanation of Solution

The survey could be double blind if both the researchers and subjects are not aware of the treatments that they are getting.
