In this question, the psychologists wishes to generalize the result of the study to a team of employees. However, the study used students as subjects and the student might react differently to loosing than employees. Moreover, a game is also not really representative for a work project because losing a game will have no major negative consequences on the individual’s life while having an unsuccessful work project could have major negative consequences on an individual’s life. Thus, we can then conclude that the results cannot be generalized to employees.
