To determine

The reason for saturation and condensation occurring on a cold day than on a warm day.

Answer to Problem 7TE

Saturation and condensation are more likely to occur on a cold day than on a warm day because the condensation moisture increases the temperature of the air. It mostly occurs when the dew point is more than the air temperature.

Explanation of Solution

Condensation is bound to happen when air is cooled on the ground as the water vapor's speed diminishes despite the fact that the condensation is bound to happen when the air cools, regardless of how chilly it becomes. There are consistently a couple of atoms with adequate speed to stay as a vapor. A similar number of water vapor particles noticeable all around, immersion is bound to happen in cool bad habit warm air.

In this manner, warm air can "hold" more water vapor atoms before getting soaked than would cold be able to air. On a warm day, the difference in the temperature between air temperature and the dew point is high. Thus, condensation occurs on a cold day.

Conclusion:

Therefore, saturation and condensation are more likely to occur on a cold day than on a warm day because the condensation moisture increases the temperature of the air. It mostly occurs when the dew point is more than the air temperature.
