The color on the negative for a red sweater photographic print 

Explanation of Solution

Introduction:

A negative is an image in which light areas appears as ark and dark areas appears as light like complementary colors (opposite colors on the color wheel).

The complementary colors are a pair of colors that are combined to produce a greyscale. On photographic print, the sweater is in red and it is the complementary color. 

In the color wheel, the complementary color of red is cyan that is the combination of blue and green.  Generally, a negative is a color, reversed with red areas, that appears cyan. Green appears as magenta. So, each complementary color available in the color wheel. 

Conclusion:

The color of the negative is cyan as a complementary color of red.
