Question
Chapter 27.2, Problem 9AYP
Summary Introduction
To analyze:
The sensory receptors that are responsible for activating neural and hormonal mechanisms to regulate extracellular fluid volume.
Introduction:
The body’s water content is regulated so that the total volume of water in the body remains constant. Thus, the volume of water taken into the body is equal to the volume lost each day. Changes in the volume of water alter the osmolality, blood pressure and interstitial fluid pressure.
