Question
Chapter 2.7, Problem 2MQ
Summary Introduction
Cell wall and cytoplasmic membrane are considered as the most vital structures of a cell. In addition to these structures, bacterial and archaeal cells also possess several other structures or layers that are in contact with the external environment. Similar to flagella, both pili and fimbriae are structural appendages found on the surface of prokaryotic cells.
