Explanation of Solution
The magma produces when there is distinction occurs between the continents. The magma evolves inside the Earth and takes time to cool and solidify as compared to lava evolves outside the surface of the Earth. The volcanoes due to magma are seen mostly in the region of divergent boundaries and convergent boundaries.
The magma produced between the convergent boundaries cools by the fluid released by the wet rock that interacts with the wedge mantle rock. The cooling due to the fluid released causes it to cool fast and form basaltic magma.
Similarly, in transform plate boundaries the magma so formed is basaltic in composition and buoyant in nature.
