The Styrene Butadiene is made from the addition of Styrene and Butadiene due to which it is known as addition polymer.

Explanation of Solution

Addition polymers are simply formed by the joining together of monomer units. In other words,when two monomers are added to each other via polymerization reaction to form a repeated arrangement as a polymer and release of no such by - product occurs, such polymers are called addition polymers. The addition polymers are developed mostly using free radical polymerization reaction. The polymerization reaction of addition polymer Styrene Butadiene rubber is shown in figure below:
