Introduction:

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disorder i.e. it is can be passed on from the parents to the offspring. It is inherited in recessive manner which means that an individual should have two recessive alleles of the gene for being diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Even if one of the allele is dominant, it will mask the effect of the recessive allele and the phenotype will be normal.
