Gel electrophoresis is used for separation and analysis of the micromolecules and their fragments, it done separation on the basis of size and charge, in which agarose gel is used, which allow molecules to pass through the pores, smaller length of the molecule will migrate easily as compare to larger one. The gel electrophoresis is mostly used to separate charged molecules like DNA, RNA.
