The bacteria are the microscopic organism. They are prokaryotic and they lack true nucleus. On the basis of morphology, they can be divided into three types: spirochetes, cocci and bacilli. On the basis of gram staining they can be classified as gram positive (that are deeply stained in purple color) and gram negative (that are pink in color after staining).
