Introduction:
The bacteria are the microscopic organism. They are prokaryotic and they lack true nucleus. On the basis of morphology, they can be divided into three type: spirochetes, cocci and bacilli.

The bacteria are of three shapes:
Bacilli: These are rod-shaped bacteria; they are elongated in appearance.
Cocci: A round shaped bacteria, they are look like spherical balls under microscopes.
Spirochetes: These are arranged in a helix or a spring like pattern. Their resemblance to the spiral shape is behind the name spirochetes.
