Answer to Problem 88A
We can precipitate a solution of the above mixture using sulfuric acid. Addition of sulfuric acid to the solution will form sodium and barium sulphate out of which barium sulphate will precipitate. This precipitate can be extracted and weighed to find out the amount of barium chloride.

Precipitation reactions:
Out of these reactions the Ksp of barium is lesser so it will precipitate first. The weight of the precipitate will be the amount of BaCl2 which can be subtracted form the mass of the mixture to find out the amount of NaCl.
