The way, in which more than one gene at a time is regulated in eukaryotes.

Introduction:

Gene regulation is mainly controlled by the transcription factors (TFs). These factors attached to the ribonucleic acid (RNA) polymerase on the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) sequences and help to initiate or repress the gene transcription. Some of these factors can control multiple genes at a time if there is more than one copy of the binding sites for the transcription factor present on the sequence or on the operon.
