Question
Chapter 14, Problem 12IMT
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The evident major theme for the statement given in the book: “Plants make their own organic matter from inorganic nutrients by photosynthesis” and also explain how the statement relates to the theme.
Introduction:
Photosynthesis is a process in which the green plants absorb the solar energy and convert the light energy into the chemical energy. This process takes place in chloroplast organelle which is present in the green plants. The chloroplast contains the chlorophyll pigments that transmit green light and absorb other light for photosynthesis. Plants are placed under the domain Eukarya as the plant cell contains a true nucleus and membrane bound cell organelles.

the question is:
Start with a photon of sunlight and a carbon atom in a molecule of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere: model/diagram their pathway from that starting point to their final destination as a glucose molecule that is used for energy in a cell in the plant root. Following your diagram/model, provide a written explanation for what your diagram/model depicts. Make sure both your model and explanation are clear, concise, and have the appropriate level of detail to clearly demonstrate you understand photosynthesis, cellular respiration, and the movement of mass and energy in plants.
my ans:A glucose particle is continuously mellowed into CO2 and water during cell breath. Some atp is created straightforwardly during the responses that change glucose. Nonetheless, undeniably more ATP is created later in a cycle known as oxidative phosphorylation. Glycerol is changed over into one of the glycolysis moderate items and hence enters the cell breath pathway. Unsaturated fats go through…

A botanist (a biologist who specializes in plant biology) is researching the enormous biodiversity of plants found in the tropical rainforest. As she hikes through the forest, she finds a section of forest that contains several types of flowering plants that are unidentified, meaning they have yet to be named and classified into a scientific group. She observes several different examples of this plant over several acres of forest and notes that the leaves and stems of these plants look very similar. The only part of the plant that varies is the flower. She notes that on the southern side of the forest, the flowers are bright pink and have 18 petals per flower. On the northern side of the forest, the flowers are white and have nine petals per flower.
