To determine: The reason due to which somatosensory information is projected to only one hemisphere of the brain; whereas, the auditory information is projected to both the hemispheres of the brain.
Introduction: The somatosensory cortex is involved in receiving and processing the information from the sensory neurons. The neurons, which sense the feelings in skin, pain, vision, and auditory stimuli, send their signals to the somatosensory cortex.
