Question
Chapter 10.13, Problem 3MQ
Summary Introduction
Most of the prokaryotes like bacteria and Achaea have a characteristic genomic mechanism called CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats). This CRISPR is found in bacterial chromosomes. This CRISPR have constant repeats of variable DNA segments called spacers. These spacer DNA recognize the foreign DNA as it encounters each time and is stored in its memory bank.
