Mass of one mole of iron is 56 g.

Mass of one mole of zinc is 65.38 g.

Explanation of Solution

Since, one mole of any substance is equal to the Avogadro number i.e. 6.022×1023 atoms.

Number of moles of iron = 1 mole

Number of moles of zinc = 1 mole

Number of particles = number of moles ×6.022×10 23molecules1 mole

Thus, number of iron particles present in one mole

= 1 mole×6.022×10 23atoms1 mole

=6.022×10 23atoms

Number of zinc atoms present in one mole

= 1 mole×6.022×10 23atoms1 mole

=6.022×10 23atoms

Therefore, number of both zinc atoms and iron atoms is same as number of moles of both atoms is same.

The mathematical expression of number of moles is given by:

Number of moles = given mass of the compoundmolar mass of the compound

Now, molar mass of zinc = 65.38 g/mole

Molar mass of iron = 56 g/mole

Thus,

Mass of one mole of zinc = 65.38 g
