The buildings around the San Francisco Museum of Modern art, are skyscrapers and geometric shaped buildings. The SFMoMa stands out, with its color and design. As looking at the SFMoMa from across the street, the circular structure within the SFMoMa drives they eye to look at it because of how out of place it looks compared to the building itself
It is my opinion that HBCU’s certainly do remain not only relevant, but also necessary. HBCU’s were originally established due African American’s pursuit of an education and the acquiring a piece of the “American Dream” was thwarted by racial segregation. HBCU’s provided our young men and women with an education and developed future leaders. The very essence of their existence bestow black people with a positive identity, a safe nurturing haven for learning where their expression of emotional, mental and spiritual being need not be altered, changed, distorted or parodied for the purpose of assimilation to another’s race, culture or socially acceptable standards.
The primary reason why my child deserves to be considered for the FTEA scholarship is that he embodies the mantra of striving for excellence academically and athletically. Ever since he first entered the education system he always went above and beyond for his schoolwork, going as far as taking 1st and 2nd grade math and literacy classes in Kindergarten. In athletics, he excelled in Football as well as track & field and has earned the opportunity to play division I football for Wagner College. When he was not on honing himself in his academics or athletics, Adedayo gave back to the community. Throughout his time at Franklin High School, Adedayo has logged over 300 hours of community service through feeding the homeless, providing the less

Last weekend we set out to the Rio la Miel in Antioquia, Colombia, along this river the tropical rainforest is still preserved and it gave us a great chance to see endangered wildlife from up close. If you are interested in seeing similar beautiful regions of Colombia, check out our destinations page and contact us!

San Francisco is a city of Uber and Lyft riders; other cities must have been an after-thought. But don’t trust my possibly-biased observation. So far, I only drove in a few cities though I sampled enough of Northern California--who needs other states when there is California, and its crown jewel city, San Francisco, the city by the bay. Known for the good food, Instagram-friendly nature scenes, mural arts, and of course, steep hills that require bravery of anyone who attempts to drive on them.
Because San Francisco is near the bay, weather fluctuates all the time. During the summer, most days are about 65° with some slight wind, and fog. Highs will reach the low 70°’s, and lows can reach the mid 50°’s. Fall tends to be a little warmer, with stronger winds. Towards the end of fall, into the beginning of winter, temperature decreases into the low 60°’s. Going into Spring, it begins to warm up, with some cool breezes. But beware, Spring, Fall, and Winter plans can all be ruined with SF’s notorious rain
As I egress out of the San Francisco International airport I find myself in an entirely contradictory environment from which I had recently departed. This difference becomes apparent when I leave the regulated atmosphere of the terminal, when I am confronted with the smell of the ocean and the remarkable difference in temperature. I quickly shuck my coat and sweat shirt, revealing my t-shirt underneath. I smell the ocean and feel a swift breeze. My experience has just begun. San Francisco, with all of its oddities and scenic views was the topic of my paper.
Everyone 5 and up knows that although Saint Nicholas existed; thankfully, there isn't a cheery fat guy with flying reindeer somehow slipping down your chimney to deliver presents while also knowing whether or not you've been naughty or nice. Speaking of which, how can he deliver presents to 2.2 billion kids?! And another thing; how can he survive in the Arctic? Being upon, if not the most, inhospitable place on Earth, it's practically impossible for any human being to live that far up north; not including global warming nor any of the other residents. In the year 1916, in New York City, Lucy Sprague Mitchell and Harriet Johnson founded the Bank Street School for children. The Bureau of Educational Experiments as it was called, was set up as a laboratory nursey school to study children. The staff comprised mostly of teachers, psychologists and researchers who worked to discover environments conducive where children grew to their full potentials. The idea was to identify such environments and educate teachers and faculty members in how to create them.
San Francisco is a vibrant city featuring unique culture and a wide variety of attractions and activities.
I was among thousands of students from all over the world. Different languages, foods, and traditions, something I had never experienced. San Francisco was such a dream! I had never travel outside of the state of Texas. In the beginning, I was scared during the flight to San Francisco; my fear went away once we arrived. San Francisco is such a wonderful city to visit.

The Guggenheim Museum was purposefully planned and sympathetically carried out. It was a new construction which was designed to house Non- Objective artwork from Solomon R. Guggenheim himself. When approaching the building you’re immediately drawn to its wide, oval shaped base which is the foundation for the vertical, spiraling, eight-story tower. The museum was designed to have an inverted ziggurat effect and due to this, if your eye is keen enough you’ll see the grid pattern the entire space forms. You’re pleasantly overwhelmed before darkening the entrance of this curvaceous and very circular museum. In my research, there is nothing subtle about this bold and dramatically designed museum. Even though the museum is considered modern, it is said the museum embraces nature and adds to the multi-level skyline of the NY
