Introduction:

Meiosis is a reduction cell division in which cell divides into four daughter cells. The daughter cells receive a haploid number of chromosomes hence, meiosis is called as reductional division. During meiosis, crossing over takes place which results in the variation of daughter cells. Due to this crossing over, different combination of chromosomes are formed.
