Darwin was the first person to note that evolutionary outcomes are probabilistic, meaning that they depend on the likelihood of outcomes rather than on certainties. Explain what this means in the context of Darwin’s theory of how evolution occurs? That is, how is Darwin’s theory is dependent upon the chances of a certain outcome and not on the absolute certainty of any particular outcome?
Offically speaking, did Charles Darwin develop the theory of "evolution" or the theory of "descent with modification?" I know he coined the second term but I can't find if that's all he's historically creditited with.
Discuss the validity of the statement “Evolution is an equal opportunity biological phenomenon”. Do you agree or disagree? Give examples that support or refute this statement.
