Introduction:
Prokaryotic cells are those that lack nucleus and other membrane bound organelles. Eukaryotic cells contain a well-defined nucleus and other membrane bound organelles. The first cells that originated on Earth were simple prokaryotic cells. Eventually they gave rise to more complex eukaryotic cells.
