Expert Solution & Answer
Program Description Answer
Three types of control structures such as “sequence”, “selection” and “iteration” structures are used to write all the computer programs.
Explanation of Solution
Control structures:
- To develop any problem solving algorithm, control structures are used.
- Control structures provide the flow order in which the program statements are executed.
- There are three types of control structures:
- Sequence structure: his structure is used to execute the program statements one by one without any alteration in the flow of execution.
- Selection structure: This structure is used to execute the statement based on the selection or condition. This structure can alter the execution flow.
- Iteration: This structure is used to repeat the execution of same statements for a particular number of times.
