To describe: The adaptations that helped the angiosperms to become the most successful and widespread land plants.

Introduction: The angiosperms are the seed-bearing, vascular plants, which comprise about 80% of all terrestrial green plants. In these plants, the ovule is fertilized and produced into seeds that are enclosed within the ovary. The seeds consist of endosperm, zygote, and a protective coat. Almost all economical crops are angiosperms.
