Tendons are an inelastic but a flexible cord of connective tissue which is a strong collagen fibers that attaches or fixes the muscle to a bone. Ligaments are flexible but tough fibers of connective tissues that functions in joining the two bones or cartilage. They also help in maintaining the integrity of joints. Joints are the structures that help in bringing about movements in a body.
