Explanation of Solution
Endotherm is an animal which is dependent on the internal generation of heat. The endothermic animals control their body temperature.
Feather are the flat shape appendages that grow from the bird’s skin forming the plumage and gives the bird the ability to fly and give the bird’s its color.
Contour feather is defined as body outlining feather and helps in flying. It includes flight and tail feathers.
Preen gland is a gland the base of the tail of bords and it produced oil for preening.
Down feathers are the small soft feather that helps in insulation and lines all the parts of the body of a bord.
Sternum is a breastbone that is present in the front of chest and middle bone in the formation of a rib cage,
Air sac is a lung that compartment that contains air and it is an extension of bird’s lung cavity.
Incubate, in birds, is the act if sitting on egg in order to keep them warm for hatching purpose.
