Introduction: Fungi reproduce either by the asexual mode of reproduction or by the sexual mode of reproduction. They produce microscopic spores which grow to form fully developed mature organisms. The spores produced by asexual reproduction are genetically identical to their parents. Asexual spores disperse to similar and favorable places, whereas sexual spores colonize new habitats.
