Chapter 25.4, Problem 1CR
Summary Introduction
Diseases caused by a group of pathogens including bacteria viruses and protozoan’s are termed as infectious diseases. These pathogens take advantage of the compromised immune response of the host for invasion and growth in the human body. Certain life style factors are also responsible for different kinds of infectious diseases. These kinds of diseases affect the human body by inhibiting the function of any particular system required for proper functioning of the human cells or tissues.
