The difference between radial and bilateral symmetry is given as follows:

    Radial symmetry Bilateral symmetry
    ·An organism with radial symmetry can be divided into approximately equal halves along either plane, with a central axis. An organism with a bilateral symmetry can be separated into mirror image halves around the central axis and in one plane.
    ·All organisms with radial symmetry grow from only two layers of embryonic cells-the endoderm and the ectoderm. Most organisms with bilateral symmetry have three layers of embryonic cells-the ectoderm, the endoderm, and the mesoderm.
