Question
Chapter 23.1, Problem 1TQ
Summary Introduction
To review:
The growth of anaerobic microorganisms on the skin or in the mouth.
Introduction:
Various parts of the human body are exposed to the outer environment and remain in contact with several biotic agents that may grow over the exposed body regions. The mouth and the skin are constantly exposed to air and yet there is an unequal mixture of both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria that reside in both these areas. The colonization and distribution of the type of bacteria depend upon the physical part of the mouth and skin.
