Introduction:
Anthrax is a disease caused by a bacterium, Bacillus anthracis observed by Koch. When Koch studied the infected blood of animals, he observed a rod-shaped bacterium that synthesizing chains. From this study he observed that the endospores present in the bacterial cells, produced anthrax, when injected into the mice.
