Vascular plants with no seeds are those that have vascular tissue but no blooms or seeds. Vascular plants that lack seeds, like ferns and horsetails, reproduce by haploid, unicellular spores. For mosses, liverworts, and hornworts together, the term bryophyte is used. Because they are non-vascular plants, they lack roots or vascular tissue and instead take nutrients and water from the air via their surface.
