Solubility is defined as the tendency of a solute to dissolve in a given solvent.
A saturated solution contains the maximum number of atoms of solute in the given quantity of solvent. If more solute is added to the saturated solution, it results in the formation of precipitation.
Higher is the value of the solubility product of a salt, higher is the solubility of that salt.
