The catalysts found in living cells are called enzymes. Enzymes catalyse various chemical reactions of cells and play a vital role in the bodily functions.

Explanation of Solution

Enzymes are proteins which work mostly through a lock and key mechanism and provide biological reactants a surface for reaction which increases the rate of the reaction. Enzymes catalyse many biological functions like digestion, respiration and other roles.
