Chapter 15.3, Problem 30AQP
Summary Introduction

To determine:

The arrangement of the following elements of translation in the approximate order in which they would appear in prokaryotic protein synthesis: 70S initiation complex, 30S initiation complex, release factor 1, elongation factor G, initiation factor 3, elongation factor Tu, fMet-tRNAifMet

Introduction:

Translation process in cells includes the synthesis of proteins that are made up of amino acids. Translation of m-RNA into protein requires three complex stages: initiation, elongation, and termination. For the translation process to be completed, it requires several elements, such as ribosomes, t-RNA, initiation factor, elongation factors, start codon, stop codon, release factor and so on. Translation process is completed when the ribosome translocates to a stop codon or termination codon with the help of release factors.
