The orbicularis oris muscle made of numerous strata of muscular fibers surrounds the orifice of the mouth. It is composed of four independent quadrants which gives an appearance of circularity. The levator labii superioris muscle is a broad muscle used for facial expression. The levator anguli oris is a muscle of mouth which elevates angle of mouth medially.
