Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Abdominal wall consists of very little skeletal support unlike the thoracic cavity. It represents the boundaries of the abdominal cavity and is strengthened by broad flat muscles whose fibers runs in different directions. The abdominal wall is split into the posterior, lateral, and anterior wall. There is a common set of layers covering and forming the entire wall.
