Summary Introduction

To determine:

A cell is a basic unit of life.

Introduction:

Every living organism consists of one or more cells. A cell is the “fundamental unit” of life. Cells have membrane-bound called cell membrane; it protects the organisms from the environment and other conditions. Also, this membrane encloses minerals, water, nutrients, and major organelles such as chloroplast, mitochondria, and DNA. Each organelle has a specific function. Cells make use of genetic information, as present in DNA, to produce proteins and these proteins activate the cells to achieve their functions. These are very important to each and every organism.
