From: Lifehack - Monday Jun 06, 2022 12:49 pm Subject: work-related stress

Hi there,
Do you know that today, the overall day-to-day stress is much higher than it was in the 1990s?

And there are many reasons why it’s higher... We’re constantly connected to the world...

We’re constantly exposed to pictures of people who are miserable in their life but appear very happy on social media platforms.

But, even though the reasons I mentioned above are nowhere near the biggest stressor in life, they’re very much connected to it.

And the biggest stressor in life is your work.

Think about it.

You’re working at least 5 days a week, 8 hours a day and...

... during that period of time, you’re constantly hit with new projects and tasks that sometimes have very short deadlines that seem impossible to meet.

On top of that, you may have work demands that you’re constantly reminded about them and their deadlines.

It’s very stressful.

It’s so stressful that sometimes, you may push yourself to work overtime just so that you can meet the work demands.

But that’s not all.
There’s the fear of disappointment...

If you don’t meet the work demands, you may feel like you’re not achieving your goals and not getting the results you’re expecting and...

... that’s another stressful situation that adds up to everything I’ve mentioned above. I can go on and on about this but you get the point.
Our work is the biggest stressor in our life.

If you don’t know how to cope with that stress your health will start to suffer. And once your health starts to suffer, everything in your life will start to suffer.

Your family, your wealth, your peace of mind, your physical/mental health, literally everything.

Yearly, in the US alone, more than 120,000 people die as a result of work-related stress.

That’s why knowing how to cope with stress, especially work-related stress is a huge benefit for you and your loved ones.

And if you don’t know how to cope with work-related stress then...
... I highly suggest you check out the Definitive Guide On How To Cope With Work-Related

Stress.
