I was able to attend some online classes at Truckee Meadows Community College thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I was even able to help my husband get through an online course by setting a schedule for him. I interacted with many individuals who found online learning to be a challenge and did not find this to be the case for me. I also found my experiences and age to be a strength rather than a hindrance when attending college. During the in person sessions I found many of the younger students afraid to ask the professor questions and I was able to mentor them past this fear and help them through the course.
