Thesis: The uses of nuclear energy range from being a clean, renewable energy source to cutting edge medical procedures.

I particularly enjoyed a biology project for which I chose to research a new haemophilia treatment being developed, which required fewer injections. This would make the lives of sufferers much more managable. I have observed that CanGo is in the mists of making decisions on how to grow the company. They have found out that they cannot really fund all of the ideas they have for the growth. There was the suggestion to move employees around, or an IPO put in place or the company will never grow into anything bigger than what it is. They are focused on their competitions offerings and are worried they will be left behind if they don’t expand their offerings. Liz and Maria make a suggestion of moving employees down but are met with a debate that if they move the employees around it may cause problems in the long run. The first paper is due by Monday, April 9, 11:59 p.m. You MAY use sources outside of the Liberty Search Engine (and are encouraged to do so). Also you may use scholarly books and not just journal articles. You should avoid using generic websites that do not appear scholarly in nature. A good rule of thumb is that if a website does not have an author, it is not a good source. Good online material has also usually been published in print at some point. Google Scholar and JSTOR are great places to search, as well as the online encyclopedias I've shown you. Always feel free to send me an email if you have questions about sources or formatting.

The Ka'u School of Arts has been based in Ka'u since 2004. The school's mission is to strengthen not only it community but other communities a well. It also wants to empower individuals in Ka'u by providing learning experiences, opportunities to show their gifts and talents and to teach and share their culture. They also have a vision that each individual in the district of Ka'u is aware of their own creativity and innovation that they each hold within themselves. They believe that with the individuals becoming aware of the talents they possess that they will have better opportunities and careers for themselves.

Recently, the Junior Civitan Club held a charter ceremony to officially recognize the club as part of Junior Civitan. This was a very momentous occasion for not only members and sponsors of the club, but for the school as well.

P4- Outline the benefits of having a variety of data types available to the programmer

For my Capstone project topic, I chose community design. Specifically, I desire to create a community plan for the Blackman community with an emphasis on making it healthier and then present it to . I chose this topic due to my lifelong love of active community design. When I was younger, I would draw up different communities where me and my friends could live, work, and play. Naturally, this early pastime became my life purpose. I have always loved active, walkable communities. Not only that, I have also cared about staying healthy for many years. During my middle school days, I was very unhealthy. I still remember being made fun of for my weight and now I don’t want anyone to have to deal with that. In doing this project, I will gain experience in the field, I will learn what makes a healthy community, and I will leave a lasting influence on the Blackman area.

Nuclear technology can make deep space exploration possible while making daily life on Earth more comfortable and safer. Nuclear power has minimal threats to our natural environment, and nuclear science can detect and cure many diseases. Seeing all the possibilities related to nuclear engineering, I am easily drawn into this field.

“The road ahead waits for your journey, you just got to take the first step.” High Tech High School is my road to success. Not only will it fulfill my academic needs, but will help me stay on the right track as a dancer and an individual. As a girl who has gone to Catholic school her whole life, I question going to a public school. Why should I go down this road? Because High Tech is not your average high school. It gives people the opportunity to be surrounded by those who share your same passion. People who are going down the same road.

Ebonics is used by a group of people pertaining to a certain race or community (mostly African-American). It has most of the characteristics commonly found in a language; subsequently, seeing it as a language on its own could be an open ended argument based on each conversationalist’s point of view. Being able to take in the information that is presented and being able to apply it is a crucial tool that is needed in order to be successful. One of the assignments that we were given in ENGR 1000 was that we were tasked to see what type of learner we were. Everyone has their own unique way of learning and I myself feel that I am more of a visual learner than verbal. There are eight different characteristics on a scale from one to ten which means there can be fifty thousand and four hundred different possibilities. This is why it is important to know and understand what type of learner you are because you are only one of that fifty thousand and four hundred. You could and are very likely spinning your wheels trying to learn things the wrong way if you truly don’t understand how you learn. I can read a book cover to cover and at the end, sometimes I could not tell you what I have just read. After taking that survey I was surprised at how much I was heavily leaning only on visual and not verbal. Just this one alone was putting me at a disadvantage in my education because I was only really taking in half of what I could be. In the United States, starting salaries for teachers who have completed a four-year degree are far lower compared to many other professions, which also require a four-year degree. In most states, teachers must undergo testing and other rigorous certification requirements, but they are given the same consideration or status as beginning professionals in other areas. Although attractive incentives are offered, the compensation does not compare to the long hours of work and schooling required for a teaching career.

A preliminary investigation “refers to the early stages of crime scene processing, usually conducted by the first officer on the crime scene” (Lyman, p. 24) The actions of the first officer to respond to the scene can greatly influence the success or failure of an investigation.
