Ebonics is used by a group of people pertaining to a certain race or community (mostly African-American). It has most of the characteristics commonly found in a language; subsequently, seeing it as a language on its own could be an open ended argument based on each conversationalist’s point of view. Just like any other languages known to man – it is arbitrary, productive, creative, systematic, vocalic, social, non-instinctive and conventional. It serves the purpose of facilitating or conveying thoughts between individuals. From that being said, I personally have the opposite thought when it comes to perceiving it as a bona-fide language because, it doesn’t have its own alphabet or grammatical rules. As we all know, the world has been a diverse
Linguists are people who study languages and their structures. Over time linguists have renamed Ebonics African American Vernacular English, or AAVE. Ebonics, however, is used more colloquially than AAVE. Linguists, for the most part, regard Ebonics as an English dialect. They also argue that Ebonics has its own grammatical structure and originated from the interaction between Niger-Congo slaves and European imperialists, to what linguists refer to as a pidgin language. A pidgin language is defined as a grammatically simplified form of a language, used for communication between people not sharing a common language (“What is Ebonics (African American English)?”).

I agree that we should allow students to use Ebonics in the classroom because then stu-dent will be able to learn about the different cultures and languages for them to know for their future learning and lives. Ebonics is an important in the because not all students may have access to someone with a different language than our own. It should be something that looks desirable for the study of language as part of the schools’ curriculum for all of the stu-dents. In the end, it is a teachers’ job to provide the “standard” that students can understand the language heard around them. They must teach the reading and writing to the students whose culture and language is different, and that the teacher must be able to teach students who choose to another language to learn.
COSHH files with guidelines and instructions on how to dispose of any kept substances that are hazardous to health can be found within each of your care services. Clinical yellow bags, must be labelled and sealed correctly then placed in the bin area where they are collected by a contractor on a weekly basis. Used sharps such as needles should be placed in a yellow sharps bin provided by your local doctors, hospital or pharmacy and returned to these places when full so they can be disposed of correctly. Out of date or refused medication should be recorded within your service and then collected by a contractor who then returns to the pharmacy for disposal.

The first paper is due by Monday, April 9, 11:59 p.m. You MAY use sources outside of the Liberty Search Engine (and are encouraged to do so). Also you may use scholarly books and not just journal articles. You should avoid using generic websites that do not appear scholarly in nature. A good rule of thumb is that if a website does not have an author, it is not a good source. Good online material has also usually been published in print at some point. Google Scholar and JSTOR are great places to search, as well as the online encyclopedias I've shown you. Always feel free to send me an email if you have questions about sources or formatting.
Cladribine is an adenosine deaminase inhibitor. Adenosine deaminase, an enzyme involved in purine metabolism, plays an important role in DNA and RNA synthesis through the turnover of nucleic acids in tissues. Cladribine is a well-known purine nucleoside analog which interferes with adenosine deaminases, thus used for treating lymphoproliferative disorders, such as hairy cell leukemia (HCL) [1].

This research paper will evaluate the biological aspects of addictive substance or behavior and how it affects the brain and organs. Biological aspects include dopamine levels that are replaced in the brain due to the reward system being overtaken and the absorption rate of the drug once it is ingested will be discussed. The biological aspects are extensive and permanent if the individual does not get the help they need. Furthermore the clinical issues of addictive substance or behavior will be discussed along with medical treatments and ethical issues. This includes treatments such as counseling
Hi Teagen! I agree with the idea that the expansion of suffrage to non-propertied white males in the 1820s and 1830s was an advancement in American political life. I found in the book that through the westward expansion, most of the new states in America allowed all white males to vote at the age of 21 (Faragher, 258). Also before 1800 only white males that owned property or were taxpayers could vote in most of the original thirteen states (Faragher, 257). This was important because it led to the presidential electors and governors to be elected by a direct vote of men from all classes, rather than by small groups of state legislators (Faragher, 258). I agree that this lead to delaying suffrage of white women and African Americans. This contradicts
We discussed tonight about normal and exceptional development. Can you understand why it is not an easy thing to determine if a child is not developing appropriately and yet understand with more clarity how you might be able to notice children of concern. Explain.
+Log:+ Once SCP-0933-02 has pinned a subject, it will place SCP-0933-01 over the subject's eyes, ears, nose, or mouth, and removing it along with the covered part. The victims must never come to contact with SCP-0933-01 again because of their conviction that they could regain their facial features back. In all cases, the subjects merely removed their remaining facial features.
Something Genava said was, “Ebonics: neither “broken” nor “sloppy” speech nor merely “slang” nor some bizarre lingo spoken only by baggy-pants-wearing black kids.” The dominant group or white supremacy want us as blacks to believes that it’s something wrong with the way we speak, or pronounce our words. I personally believe they want blacks to have little to know confidence, so we can start acting like them, and not embracing our culture. I remember one time in class the white teacher name Mrs. Beltowski asked me “Do I know my dad?” and I said, “Yeah” then she said “You mean yes?”
Being able to take in the information that is presented and being able to apply it is a crucial tool that is needed in order to be successful. One of the assignments that we were given in ENGR 1000 was that we were tasked to see what type of learner we were. Everyone has their own unique way of learning and I myself feel that I am more of a visual learner than verbal. There are eight different characteristics on a scale from one to ten which means there can be fifty thousand and four hundred different possibilities. This is why it is important to know and understand what type of learner you are because you are only one of that fifty thousand and four hundred. You could and are very likely spinning your wheels trying to learn things the wrong way if you truly don’t understand how you learn. I can read a book cover to cover and at the end, sometimes I could not tell you what I have just read. After taking that survey I was surprised at how much I was heavily leaning only on visual and not verbal. Just this one alone was putting me at a disadvantage in my education because I was only really taking in half of what I could be. I have started to rely different learning styles so that I can be more we
