Money and fame do not motivate my goals. Engineering in all forms is a field of innovation and invention. Aspirations of any great engineer should be to introduce to the world a new idea, product, or service that will make people happier and the environment safer. Success in these challenges is a reward greater than any dollar amount or public recognition. Engineers bring societies to new levels of civilization through their advancements in technology and discovery. The knowledge then expanded in an Advanced Placement Chemistry class. In physics I did a project on nuclear fusion. The paper discussed concepts of nuclear physics never taught to me. I worked hard to grasp the difficult theories, and my grades exhibit dedication to furthering this competence.
Mankind has limitless potential. However, we often are first forced to break down old barriers. In the past humans have broken free of gravity and traveled through the skies. Then came the invention of the computer. The idea of millions of calculations performed each minute may have seemed absurd a century ago, but society’s dependence on it today can never be overestimated. The future, I believe, will be an era of power and energy.
Nuclear technology can make deep space exploration possible while making daily life on Earth more comfortable and safer. Nuclear power has minimal threats to our natural environment, and nuclear science can detect and cure many diseases. Seeing all the possibilities related to nuclear engineering, I am easily drawn into this field.

Not like taking up a role in the financial world, the thing with being an engineer is that most of the work you do are have an impact on the real world and have social impacts in the area you work in – bridges, buildings, and products are some prime examples. On top of that these are things one can see and appreciate everyday once they’re done, the pride of leaving my mark in this world and being part of something great would bring me the job satisfaction I need to keep going.
The necessity for a new type of energy increases with every year. Energy consumption rates are increasing continuously, and with them, pollution and wastes directly harming the Earth and her atmosphere. While other energy competitors constantly fell short of impacting fossil fuels enough to significantly lower their usage rates, nuclear energy can not only compete against the highly efficient yet harmful fossil fuels but can reign as king as a more efficient and cleaner source of energy.
Because of these shields and other precautions, the nuclear energy field has an excellent safety record. Nuclear engineers must be able to analyze and solve problems. They should be able to work well as part of a team. The nature of their work requires that nuclear engineers are to be careful and responsible workers.
Graduating from the Naval Academy will not only fulfill my goal of continuing my service to others on a larger scale, but it will also enable me to attain all of my personal life goals, including that of establishing myself as a productive citizen. The steam spun the wheel of the turbine with a Whoosh. The ecstasy of finding a new energy source is ineffable, and when found, the discovery always immediately prompts a race to use this newfound source. In accordance with this behavior, many sought to integrate nuclear power into society upon its development. The difference being nuclear energy is far more complicated and powerful than anything the field of energy has dealt with thus far. There are two types of nuclear reactions, fission and fusion; working reactors only using fission currently. In fission a neutron reacts with Uranium-235 to produce energy, two fragment nuclei, and multiple neutrons to continue the reaction. Meanwhile, in fusion two hydrogen isotopes react to produce energy, protons, neutrons, and Helium. As a consequence of these processes ' complex and formidable natures, there is a hesitance to their utilization as it is difficult to discuss the complexities of the procedures with the public without some misinterpretation. Despite the benefits found in nuclear power, it still undergoes harsh debate as governments oppose giving money to such an unexplored area of science. Yet, an increase in funding for U.S. nuclear programs would prompt advancements that replace less effective energy sources, creating opportunities for specialization in the field.
Throughout the entirety of human existence, man has thought within the realm of the universe, and has relatively recently found the usage of technology as a means to an end. Technology as a whole is reliant upon humanity for it’s creation, and we are it’s sole provider of it’s unconcealment.

There are nine countries have nuclear technology in the world, which are China, the United States of America, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Pakistan, India, North Korea (Amanda Macias, 2014). However, New Zealand choose to be nuclear free, New Zealand strong support nuclear disarmament and nonproliferation. It also is a strong supporter for IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) (Beehive, n.d). Even though nuclear power and nuclear weapons have a number of disadvantageous events, but these two things have positives. However, New Zealand is following “nuclear free” is a wise policy.

The most commonly known application of nuclear physics is nuclear power generation, but the research has led to applications in many fields, including nuclear medicine and magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear weapons, ion implantation in materials engineering, and radiocarbon dating in geology and archaeology. Nuclear physics has a lot of importance in general society development. Nuclear Physics positively influences our daily lives. There are many benefits to nuclear physics, these benefits take many forms. When done properly it can encourage interest, develop support for the research.
