The U.S and North Korea have always been two countries that are controversial. Both counties have been enemies for the past half decades and there were wars between two sides that make reconciliation impossible. North Korea has always want to fulfill their dream of conquer and The U.S was doing their job as peacemaker. Both countries are two extremes on the balance and there are several differences between two countries.

North Korea has threatened America for quite some time now, with threats of bombs and nuclear weapons. Not only does North Korea wish to attack America, but they also threatened our ally, South Korea. North Korea is tired of being controlled and contained, and continuously threaten to start war. Trump has fought back against North Korea’s threats, stating that he will use “fire and fury”, however, our president also understands the cost of a pre-emptive military strike that many people want.

North Korea has been a strong enemy of America for a very long time. Ever since the beginning of the Korean war, they have had a hatred for America. Over the years since then to present day America has tried many attempts to denuclearize North Korea all failing. In present-day 2018, Donald Trump is taking a new approach that seems to be working with North Korea’s sudden peace talk mood.

Unfortunately, there are negative outcomes. We could see escalation in North Korea to try to deter us from bring in more forces. That in turn could create a spiral effect eventually leading to war. Now, the United States would win that war but the costs would be high and the damage to both North and South Koreas infrastructure and population could be devastating even if the war only lasts a day. There is enough ordinance in the region that even a short war should be avoided at all costs.
