- When comparing business intelligence with analytics, what do you find to be the most important difference?arrow_forwardTake into account the following: Do you think Big Data and Predictive Analytics would have been useful in marketing a decade or two ago? And how did things get to this point?arrow_forwardI agree that web analytics can help a company achieve its goals and stay ahead of its competition. As we have seen, the benefits of analytical metrics and competitive intelligence can have great advantages. I guess that's why the embarrass your boss sections tell you to show your boss the various metrics your methods can construct and show how much information can come from looking at customer feedback and looking at the actions of your competitors. I feel that a part of the embarrass your boss steps is just allowing you to explain and display what web analytics is to a boss that might not understand the entire point of what you are trying to recommend as you pointed out, you should use these steps to educate. I think this focus is great as theirs plenty of people who just do not understand web analytics but might be quite open to them if it's explained and displayed to them.
