To review:
The damaging effects of using anabolic steroids to increase strength and muscle mass in the body.
Introduction:
Anabolic steroids are the synthetic male sex hormone, namely testosterone and dihydrotestosterone. They are basically androgens, which are secreted by the adrenal cortex in the body. Androgen leads to the development of male sex organs and sexual characteristics such as a deep voice and body hair growth. These hormones are also secreted in females, but to a lesser extent.
